Today I awoke surrouned by the warmth of my covers to the sound of rain on the roof and the feeling of fatigue throughout my body. Still, I gradually succeeded in dragging myself out of bed in order to make it to class at 8. As God's providence would have it, when we arrived, we discovered the power is not working at school today, so class is cancelled!!! I should've slept in! So, it is studying for the rest of day, wrapped in blankets and watching the rain coming down outside.
As I continue to move about, I found more and more muscles that were sore from snowboarding the yesterday. However, the consequences are quite worth the amazing day we had! The slopes were packed powder and we (Kristy, Amanda, Jen, Miranda, Robeson, Ken and I) had a ton of fun! It was a very long day (leaving at 4am, getting back around 10pm), and I am very grateful for the break from class today to recover and try to catch up on studying- now that the body is tired out and the brain is rested!!!
