Whats happening in my life...

Weekend: I had a great time with friends at Jim and Chandra's new place in Clemson Friday night. We ate a delicious dinner and played games... it was a fun, relaxing break!
Residency: I applied to general surgery residency programs on Friday! Wow... I can't believe I am a fourth year medical student applying for residency! Now, I will wait to hear from programs about interviews...

Step 2: I moved my exam forward one day to Sept. 20th... 9 days until the 9-hour exam. The studying is well under-way, but there is still a lot to learn/review. YIKES!

Radiology Rotation: 2 weeks left. It's been a good rotation... I have seen a lot of different areas of radiology that will be useful to know for surgery. I still have a few case reports to write up... and lectures...

Seattle: I'm leaving in 12 days for Seattle... where I will be spending 8 weeks in general surgery rotations! I have to pack one of these days... and make sure I know what I need to do when I get to Seattle and start my rotation in a strange hospital. It will be an adventure, that's for sure. I'm think I will enjoy it once I get used to the new environment/people. And, it will be fun to stay with Aunt Susie and Uncle Michael!
I think I will be much less stressed once I make it through the next 2.5 weeks!
